National Engineers Week is officially underway! Want to celebrate? We have some great ideas to get you started.

Every February, one week is set aside to acknowledge engineers for their contributions to the community and emphasize the importance of science, math, and technology in education. Below are some ideas to celebrate this week.

What better way to interest kids in engineering than seeing one in its natural habitat! Bring a group of students to spend the day in your office or classroom. Offer tours, show them engineering projects, and give them an opportunity to ask questions. ms Columbus will be hosting its annual Engineer for a Day on February 25. Students from various central Ohio schools will participate, including Bishop Watterson High School, Centennial High School, Columbus Alternative High School, Reynoldsburg eSTEM Academy, Westerville North High School, and Westerville South High School.

Numerous engineering events are held nationwide every year. From engineering to robotics, there is sure to be a competition that interests you.
