Congratulations to Jeff Cummings, PE, for receiving the 2014 Ohio Section ITE President’s Award!
The Institute of Transportation Engineers Ohio Section honors the member who has achieved sustained and significant contribution to the transportation engineering profession, the Ohio Section, the Institute, and society in general.
Jeff has held an over 40 year tenure at ms consultants and is currently a Senior Project Manager, Traffic and Transportation in the Columbus office as. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Degree and worked at General Motors before joining ms consultants in 1971. Five years later, Jeff joined the Internal and Ohio Section ITE. Since joining, Jeff has become a Life Member, served on the Uniformity Committee, and was the Publications Advertising Manager for the Ohio ITE newsletter for five years.
Encouraging other transportation engineers to be involved with ITE, Jeff has mentored many engineers at ms consultants, nine of whom who have received the Young Engineer Award and six who have served on the Ohio Section board.
