It was clear from the start that ms values its people and clients and that I would be joining an outstanding team with an impressive track record and reputation. It also became clear that many of my personal and professional values and goals aligned with those with whom I would be working.

What do you feel is the biggest trend/need in your specialty area(s)? Where do you see the industry in the next 10 years?
This is a loaded question, but when it comes to water resources, a few fascinating topics that come to mind include:

- Our understanding of emerging contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals and microplastics, and how to address these concerns with advanced treatment methods.
- Integrating more nature-based solutions into planning and stormwater management decisions.
As a new hire, what has really stood out to you at ms so far?
