Tameeka Olverson is the executive assistant for ms consultants and works closely with the marketing, legal, human resources, and finance departments. She’s been with the company for almost 2 years and in the architecture and engineering field for 11 years. She has two sons and a daughter, and she loves getting together with her nieces and nephews. Tameeka loves to travel, watch football, eat, and enjoy a good margarita. She’s a playful person, loves to laugh, and enjoys making work fun. She believes every day presents an opportunity to learn something new and values what she brings to ms.

What’s your spirit animal, and why?  
The lion, which represents heart and courage.

What is one item on your bucket list?
Travel to Africa and Dubai.

Favorite restaurant?
Cheesecake Factory. If you haven’t tried the miso salmon and the pineapple upside-down cheesecake, then you are missing out!

Best vacation location?
Bahamas cruise in December of 2022; it was my kids and my first time, and we had a ball. My kids are already planning our next trip there!

What sets ms apart from other engineering & architecture firms?
With growth, some companies lose the family value part, but ms is able to grow and still hold onto those values.

What inspires you inside or outside of work?
My kids inspire me to work hard to provide them with a lifestyle that I didn’t have growing up. Seeing my kids happy makes me happy.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Being with family and friends.
