The annual Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference (OTEC) took place this week in Columbus, Ohio, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The two-day conference was attended by people from across the United States and Canada, and is organized to provide information to anyone interested in Ohio’s transportation industry.
The program addresses the latest policies and technical information, as well as new ideas in transportation policies, planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation, local government, and management of transportation resources. Transportation officials, government, and members of the academic community attend OTEC — one of the nation’s largest transportation conferences.
In addition to technical sessions, the conference features a large exhibit area. ms consultants is an annual sponsor of OTEC and held a reception on Tuesday evening at the Hilton Hotel across the street from the convention center. We’d like to thank everyone who attended — we had a great crowd … even larger than we anticipated.
OTEC 2013 was co-sponsored by the Ohio Department of Transportation and The Ohio State University.
We’re already planning for next year’s event!
