Brendon in 100 Words or Less

I am a project architect in the Raleigh office. I work on most Dunkin’ Brands projects and also handle miscellaneous 3D modeling/rendering projects. After graduating from Ball State University with my Master of Architecture degree, I started at ms in July 2018. I live in East Raleigh with my wife and dog where we foster disabled dogs for a local no-kill shelter. I enjoy learning, reading, experiencing new technologies, hiking, and other exercises such as Olympic weightlifting, as well as making 2D and 3D art.

TELL US MORE

What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned while working at ms?

The most surprising thing I have learned is how to best navigate a municipality’s website when looking for codes and ordinances. Each one is different, some work better than others, and it’s almost always better to just call.

What sets ms apart from other engineering & architecture firms?

Our dedication to client satisfaction is something that stands out when compared to other firms. The way we interact and discuss work for, and with, the client is always pleasant and professional.

You’ve got one day in Raleigh. What do you do?

Start your day with some Flying Biscuit’s breakfast and make your way out to Umstead Park for some hiking. After that, head out to Glenwood Avenue to the Hibernian Pub for lunch, and then head downtown to see the city. There, you have your choice of the Raleigh Flying Saucer, Southern Charred, or the Raleigh Beer Garden for dinner and drinks to end the day.

Any final words?

I really appreciate my job, workplace, and those I work with.
