Prior to becoming a part of ms consultants, H.S. Annis Architect, AIA, provided architectural services for a 14,896-square-foot heavy equipment/automotive complex and classroom building facility for Wake Technical Community College (Wake Tech).

Wake Tech is a two-year, public institution serving Raleigh, North Carolina, and surrounding Wake County. It is part of the North Carolina Community College System and is currently the second largest community college in the state, with an annual enrollment of more than 65,000 students.

The complex consists of 9,650 square feet of heavy equipment and automotive “pull-thru” maintenance garages for student teaching and campus equipment. The remaining square footage consists of multipurpose classrooms, a student lounge/snack area, common restrooms, and faculty offices. An additional 15,000 square feet of exterior space was fenced in for outside lectures and student/campus equipment storage.
