The Hilton Columbus at Easton's $27.3 million transformation is complete, with the latest work creating all new common areas, pool, fitness center, restaurant, cocktail lounge and an additional 9,000 square feet of meeting rooms and event space.

Owner New York City-based Olshan Properties, which owns and manages 24 million square feet of commercial properties in 11 states, spent $13 million on the most recent upgrades, which follow a $14 million redesign of guest rooms and suites it completed in late 2015.

The new Herb N’ Kitchen restaurant, under the care of Executive Chef Timothy Dionisio, will focus on quick bites under the Hilton gourmet marketplace concept. Guests can enjoy wines by the bottle, house-fired pizzas, salads and sandwiches, and there are plenty of to-go options. Herb N’ Kitchen, which is offered as a complement to the hotel's main dining room, serves local favorites such as Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and OH! Chips.

The redesigned lobby features craft cocktails at the new Easton Social bar, a terrace and executive lounge. Digital signage has been installed throughout the hotel's meeting spaces.

“Our entire team is thrilled by the results of our expansive renovation and is incredibly excited to roll out the welcome mat to both repeat and new guests," General Manager Carrie Richards said in a release.

The hotel's owner used its market knowledge to inform the direction it took with the upgrades, said Andrea Olshan, CEO of Olshan Properties, which owns and manages six hotels, including Courtyard Columbus at Easton and Residence Inn Columbus at Easton.

“Today, we are so proud to be able to share the product of that vision with our guests and the surrounding community and invite all to enjoy the ultimate in pampering and refinement at the newly transformed Hilton Columbus at Easton," Olshan said.

The creative and construction professionals behind the renovations are all local: Interior design at the hotel was done by Mosaic Design Studio of Columbus, the architect is MS Consultants Inc. and the general contractor is Corna Kokosing Construction Co.

The 345-room Hilton Columbus at Easton was built in 2000 and is rated AAA 4-diamond.
