Setting goals and establishing a vision that guides growth and development are an important part of any community planning process, but it is through the effective implementation and enforcement of a community’s zoning and subdivision regulations that the realization of that vision is accomplished.

ms utilizes our collective expertise in planning, architecture and engineering to help communities develop and implement a regulatory structure that promotes their vision and successfully guide development.  We work with communities to create codes that are easy to follow and implement, legally enforceable, and responsive to each community’s unique needs for staffing, review, approval and enforcement.  Our codes include elements of form-based zoning that allow communities to more effectively regulate the built environment.

ms consultants also provides zoning workshops to help educate newly elected or appointed officials and keep officials up-to-date on the ever-changing nature of planning, zoning techniques, and case law.
