Tuscarawas Tech Park

ms consultants was chosen by the Tuscarawas County Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) to develop site concepts for the sale of property in the Tuscarawas Tech Park and to rewrite the design standards to better regulate the architecture and development of the individual sites. 

Tuscarawas County is located in eastern Ohio and is bisected by Interstate 77, which runs north to Akron and Cleveland and south to the Ohio River and into West Virginia.

The ms team also assisted the CIC by writing a new zoning overlay district for the Tech Park that will assist the city in controlling the development, expediting the review and approval process, and protecting the integrity of the design standards adopted by the CIC. 

This new overlay includes standards for:

  • Building placement and site design
  • Environmentally sensitive site development
  • Architectural Standards that promote the Technology image
  • Landscape and screening
  • Parking
  • Lighting
  • Sustainable Design
