This interchange project, part of a $280 million transportation system upgrade design, helps improve traffic flow along the east side of the Columbus outerbelt.
In addition to design services, ms consultants supplied right-of-way acquisition activities including title research and negotiations, along with supporting appraisal, relocation, closing, and project management functions. This project affected 44 property owners and contained 86 parcels to be acquired. Team members negotiated with 44 commercial and residential property owners for the purchase of right of way required for the project.
Warranty Deed acquisitions consisted of State and City warranty deed acquisitions. Other necessary acquisitions included both permanent and temporary easement acquisitions.
The project also included commercial and residential relocation activity and the purchase of numerous bill-of-sale parcels.
