    County Nursing Home of the Year for Capital Improvements, PACAH (Pennsylvania Association of County-Affiliated Homes) in October 1995 for the Alzheimer Patient Special Needs Wing. The center was honored again in 1998 by PACAH for the Phase I four-story addition to the solariums, the snack bar, beauty salon, main corridors, and 81 resident rooms.
