Experience
Mr. Pierko is responsible for the management of both the Environmental and Municipal Services Divisions for the Youngstown and Pittsburgh operations of ms consultants. He is fully responsible for all aspects of projects including schedules, client budgetary limitations, project objectives, project budgets, quality control, technical accuracy and regulatory compliance. His extensive experience extends into the coordination of numerous other disciplines including mechanical, electrical, structural, geotechnical, architectural and construction. Mr. Pierko has extensive experience in the overall coordination of all major projects in the environmental and municipal fields.

Mr. Pierko’s experience in the wastewater field is extensive. His design experience extends from small to very large facilities with additional experience and certifications in facility operations. He has served as both, Project Engineer and Project Manager for a variety of industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and collection systems.

Additionally, Mr. Pierko has an extensive amount of experience in the field of water treatment and distribution. Due to his overall knowledge of the design process, he has served as Project Manager on several water related projects, including acting as a technical expert in the planning of water treatment systems and distribution systems.

Mr. Pierko serves as the Senior Project Manager of the Municipal Engineering Division. As a result of his multidiscipline activities, he serves as a technical advisor in numerous roles for local communities.

He is also the Manager-In-Charge of all Hazardous and Environmental Site Assessment activities. He works closely with clients to ensure that all regulatory guidelines are maintained while minimizing costs to the client.
