On May 18, 2017, Ken Ricker, PE, was awarded the Lifetime Engineering Award from the Southeast Section of the Ohio Water Environment Association.

The award is presented to honor Ohio design engineers who have consistently delivered successful engineering design of wastewater facilities for 20 years or more. Ken has more than 30 years of engineering experience with nearly 27 years of experience at ms consultants.

Ken was the first water engineer in the company, hired on when the Columbus office added water engineering services to serve the surrounding communities. He helped grow the ms services and was the project manager and designer for the John R. Doutt Upground Reservoir, an award-winning reservoir project that provides drinking water to residents of Central Ohio. 

The Lifetime Engineering Award recognizes consulting engineers that have participated actively in the design of sanity sewage and treatment works and have demonstrated a high level of competence in the design profession.
