With many residents in Downtown Columbus living in smaller spaces with limited storage, the new building will help meet the growing demand for close, accessible, and safe storage.
This 73,000+ square foot building is currently under construction in Downtown Columbus. Located on the corner of Long and Young streets, the five-story self-storage facility will be home to main floor retail and offices spaces, a humidity-controlled wine storage, and a wine tasting room.
The storage building is being constructed under collaboration of ms consultants, inc., Brexton, LLC, and Edwards Companies. ms provided the architectural design and assisted in the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering.
Complete features of the new building includes:
- Climate-controlled storage
- 24/7 security
- Loading zone with vehicle access
- Retail spaces
- Office spaces
- Humidity-controlled wine storage with a backup generator
- Wine tasting room

A six-story self-storage facility was also recently approved for Columbus’ Brewery District. ms will be providing project management, architectural design, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for this exciting development. More to come!
